FreeBSD 6.0-R finally was released, and I started deploying it on any computer I could find in my house. I decided some time ago to reinstall my home-server too. I finally used gmirror instead of gvinum because it appeared to be [...]
Just a few hours after OpenBSD 3.8, Scott Long has been committing some changes announcing the imminent release of FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE. Assuming it takes some days to build ISOs for !x86 architectures, I guess it will be there by the end of the week.
Yay! o/
Lots of people were waiting for the new FreeBSD logo, it is now official.
I don’t like it much as a project logo, but it is quite good looking.
