OpenOSPFD on FreeBSD
Published March 10th, 2006 in FreeBSDSince I’m now working in a company that uses OSPF as an IGP, I thought it could be nice to test OpenOSPFD on FreeBSD, so I finally made a snapshot from the OpenBSD tree and tweaked openbgpd port to create the openospfd port.
I’ve sent a mail to ports to give the location of the port two days ago, here’s the port.
Feel free to give me feedback about the port (and send bug reports to the developers of course).
Despite what people say about it, net/quagga is still my favourite. I use it for OSPF, RIP and BGP, all through each other, all in one network.
The only good point I see is that it’s quite handy for people used to IOS command line.
