But all ports and packages work just the same. The PBI (Pc-Bsd Installer) system is transparent to devs. So, patch away... Kopete uses V4L to handle webcams and our port doesn't use V4L so it's not surprising that it doesn't work for you. I could patch the FreeBSD port but I've no idea how things work on PC-BSD.
