Thank you all for your nice comments.

@Edd: I'm not doing much in ports/ lately and especially not in x11 ports. Anyway, try to send a mail to -ports@ to ask if somebody could port it and possibly submit it as a PR.

I am very happy. Happy with xorg 7.2 on ports, and with beryl on ports. Happy with the great amazing work. Happy to see everything under /usr/local/. Happy to have a complete 3D desktop via ports. Could only be happier if kiba-dock were on ports :) But the "kiba-dock" which comes with akamaru's port is nice too.

FreeBSD annoyance

As I have moved one of my home computers out to my ISP's, there arose two main issues that needed quick resolution. First was to configure a firewall on it (as it had none so far). Second, set up some VPN connection to home.

From the first few paragraphs in that article it was clear that guy didn't have a clue what he was doing, or talking, about. He just charged ahead and stomped all over his whole system.

Funny how he's closed comments for that post now :)
