OpenBGPD and OpenOSPFD ports

I’ve received a couple of mails about openbgpd and openospfd ports in last few months (and I probably forgot to answer some of them, apologies for that).

I haven’t had the chance to look at them recently but hope to do it in a near future. If someone managed to get a recent snapshot (or a stable release) working, please get in touch with me.

    Hi!

Good news, if we can support you in any way let me know. We’re in the process of building an OpenOSPFD/OpenBBPD router based on FreeBSD 6.2. We use a communication appliance with 8 Gbit/sec interfaces and are booting from flash. It would be very nice to use the latest stable version of OpenOSPFD and OpenBGPD.

    Regards,

    Peter.

Haven’t looked at OpenOSPFD recently but if you’re looking for people to support, contact Claudio (@OpenBSD.org) and ask him (politely obviously) to make it work on FreeBSD (as he is one of the main developers).
