Well it took some time, but I’m finally running my first exp-run and it happens to be for xorg 7.4.
If everything goes according to plan, it should be ready some time this weekend, or early next week. I’m sorry it took so long it’s happening finally. We’ll probably be committing updates as the individual tarballs are released in the future, rather than waiting for katamari releases. Stay tuned.

Super, merci Florent !
> it took some time
Not really if we consider the end of the ports flush was only few days ago.
Is it still planned to update the gnome ports before xorg ? KDE 4.2 will be here soon too
To be honest it should have been ready weeks ago.
Marcus and Martin will be committing their Gnome and KDE updates (respectively) before I commit X.org unless there’s a last minute change, which I highly doubt.
Good to hear to news!
So are you now the official complainee for Xorg on FreeBSD?
Unfortunately this has been the case for some time now
Thank you very much, Florent!
Do you know when these bits will be committed? I’m anxious to get them a try!
Ah! Ok, I see in your next post that you’re running on pointyhat… We’ll wait for those good bits coming
Yeah, I’ll blog about it when the exp-run is done, but basically I’ve fixed most issues. The only big blocker is the update of open-motif to 2.3 which I’ve done in my repository, but I have to bump PORTREVISION on dependent ports and see if there’s any breakage first.
