Myself
My name is Florent Thoumie and I’m 27 at the time of writing updating this page.
I spent 5 years in EPITA studying Computer Science and I graduated in July 2005.
I was living near Paris, France until February 2006 when I moved to Dublin to work for BT Ireland as a System Engineer.
A few years ago, I gained access to FreeBSD CVS repository. I’m also a member of the Ports Management Team. These days I mostly work on package tools and ports infrastructure.
Besides computer stuff, I’m a fan of Dune books, old games (Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max : Hit the Road, Dune, Dune II, ...). I enjoy photography (but I suck at it), running (kinda) and going to the gym. Oh and I love beer, burgers and pizza.
Most of the content you’ll find in this blog is technical stuff really.
