My name is Florent Thoumie and I’m 28 at the time of writing updating this page.

I spent 5 years in EPITA studying Computer Science and I graduated in July 2005.

I’ve been living in Dublin, Ireland for a little over 5 years now and I’ve recently started a new job as Operations Engineer at Facebook.

During my spare time, I work on FreeBSD. I’m a fan of Dune books, old games (Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max : Hit the Road, Dune, Dune II, ...). I also enjoy photography (but I suck at it). Oh and I love beer, burgers and pizza.

Most of the content you’ll find in this blog is technical stuff really.

    Have you ported flumotion yet? If you haven’t perhaps you could explain the tweaks you had to do to get it to run in freebsd. FreeBSD 8.3-RC1 gstreamer-0.10.35 gtk-2.24.6
